XNA GS 4 Beta Released

Rejoice for XNA GS 4 Beta has been let lose. In this pack of goodies you’ll find:

• • Visual Studio 2010 Express for Windows Phone Beta
  • Windows Phone Emulator Beta
  • Silverlight for Windows Phone Beta
  • XNA Game Studio 4.0 Beta
  One nice feature is that the Beta now allows the Hi-def profile in addition to the previous Reach profile on Windows. Yay! [1]

Oh and by the way, seems XNA/XNA Game Studio Express or what-ever is now referred to as “Windows Phone Developer Tools” even though it targets Windows and Xbox (though Xbox has yet to be allowed in V4) [2]  I’m all for single download by why ‘Phone’ for PC and consoles? Marketing types, meh… Hopefully this will change once XNA 4 targets Xbox again.
